The Irish restaurant group is set for one of its busiest days of the year
February 2025: Gourmet Food Parlour, leading Irish restaurant group, celebrates Pancake Tuesday like no other, and has built a cult following for its annual Pancake Tuesday offering with a twist. From savoury to sweet, the one day only menu is available at Gourmet Food Parlour locations nationwide and includes a variety of options for pancake lovers.
Pancake Tuesday is on the 4th of March this year, and Gourmet Food Parlour has already taken a slew of bookings in advance of the annual pancake celebration. This year’s menu consists of four pancake specials, created bespoke by the team at Gourmet Food Parlour and sure to impress fans of the pancake across Ireland. The menu includes:
- Chocolate infused crepes (€14) – A chocolatey twist on the classic French crepe. Rich chocolate is infused into the pancake batter before being perfectly cooked in the classic French style, topped with Kinder Bueno sauce, fresh strawberries and Chantilly cream. For those who enjoy light textures and a medley of sweet flavours.
- Gourmet pancake stack (€16) – A hearty portion of stacked buttermilk pancakes combined with delicious breakfast flavours. Customers can expect crispy bacon between the fluffy pancakes, a generous smattering of crumbled black pudding and topped with a friend egg and maple syrup.
- Traditional lemon crepes (€12) – For those who love the traditional pancake flavour with a fresh lemon squeezed on top of the light French crepe style pancakes. Add butter, sugar or go classic with this Pancake Tuesday staple.
- Lemon & meringue buttermilk pancake stack (€15) – A generous stack of fluffy buttermilk pancakes, packed with delicious lemon curd and topped with a mouthwatering burnt homemade meringue and a sprinkle of icing sugar. A must for those who love all things sweet!
Tables fill up fast at Gourmet Food Parlour’s annual pancake celebration, so customers are advised to book in advance where possible.
