– Iconic pizzeria brand’s Autumn menu launches

– Fiery favourites enter the menu, including Dynamite Dough Balls and a sweet-savoury Romana Moroccan Chicken

As the weather cools, Ireland’s most iconic pizzeria brand, Milano, is serving up a season of bold flavours, fiery favourites and a little extra spice with the launch of its new autumn menu.

Leading the line up are Dynamite Dough Balls, featuring the Dough Balls everyone knows and loves but with a twist. Coated in a fiery Calabrian chilli salsa, drizzled with hot honey and cooled down with a ranch dip, this dish will have everyone asking whether they can handle the heat.

Also joining the menu this Autumn is the Romana Moroccan Chicken, where sweet meets savoury. This combination of Moroccan spiced chicken with spiced apricot chutney, peppers, olives and finished with lemon and mint, was created by one of Milano’s very own Pizzaiolas: Sam Wray, who recently won the brand’s Pizza World Championships.

Returning for a limited time only, pizza fans will be able to get their hands on the famous Romana Calabrese. Topped with calabrese and spicy `nduja sausage, red chilli, roasted peppers, and finished with peppery rocket, fresh mozzarella, basil & pine kernel pesto and Gran Milano cheese, this delicious pizza is back by popular demand.

Also finding their way onto the menu this season are a range of deliciously warming dishes:

  • Pepperoni Bites – Crispy slices of pepperoni, this high protein, flavour-packed appetiser pairs perfectly with a cocktail.
  • Firecracker Chicken Wings – sweet and smoky wings coated in Heinz Firecracker Sauce™, topped with fiery red chillis.
  • Meatballs Al Forno – succulent pork meatballs, baked in a rich tomato and garlic sauce, topped with oozy mozzarella.
  • Buttermilk Ranch Slaw – cool things down with this crunchy cabbage and carrot slaw, tossed in ranch.
  • Romana Meatball Italiano – pork meatballs, spicy beef, tomato, garlic, creamy mozzarella, red onion and finished with chilli oil, parsley and Gran Milano cheese.​​ Rich, hearty and with the right amount of kick.
  • ​Mushroom & Truffle Pappardelle – seeking cosy but not spicy? Then twirl your fork around these decadently creamy mushroom and truffle sauce coated pappardelle pasta ribbons.
  • The Mossy Bottom Meltdown – a baa-rilliant treat of creamy vanilla gelato, mini cone and topped with sprinkles, this dessert enters the Piccolo menu as part of the brand’s partnership with the new movie Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Mossy Bottom.
