The wait is over! The much-anticipated AVOCA store opens its doors today at Kildare Village,Ireland’s leading luxury shopping destination. It will be the iconic retailer’s 14th store in Ireland and the store will welcome 34 new jobs.
To celebrate the opening of the store and with a commitment to Irish provenance and craft, the AVOCA team have put together a series of creative experiences for customers to enjoy. Taking place from Thursday, 28th April until Sunday, 1st May, a series of pop ups to relish in can be experienced by all ages. From singing waiters in store and throughout the Village, to complimentary surprise and delight moments, as well as a live screen print bar where customers will be encouraged to design and create their own tote bag and get creative with colour.
Beautifully designed over 196 sq. metres of prime front facing retail space, the store perfectly blends a new retail offering with their quintessential food market.
Key highlights include an extensive retail experience featuring exclusive designs from AVOCA’sown brand collections including an array of beautiful cashmere scarves and knitted accessories for women, men and kids; fabulous beauty and gifting collections, as well as a series of bespoke interior décor and home accessories such as printed ceramic ranges, cushions, home fragrances and candles. Ahead of the 300 year anniversary of the AVOCA Mill next year, the store will also stock a collection of throws and soft goods hand woven in their Mill set in the charming village of Avoca, Co.Wicklow.
The new store boasts exceptional interior and exterior design that is synonymous with the unique shopping experience found at AVOCA. The brand’s signature tree can be found at the heart of the store, decorated with beautiful wisteria flowers, evoking a sense of wonder and beauty. Externally a premium Parisian food hut takes centre stage providing shoppers with convenient, delicious lunches and snacks such as coffee, soups, sandwiches, toasties and Avoca’s signature sweet treats.
Visitors can rejoice as AVOCA’s stunning food market range; bestselling hearty favourites & tasty treats will be available from their new store. Customers can expect the retailer’s popular own brand produce and delicious gourmet grab and go meals to take home along with freshly baked pastries and bread.
