Marie and Sally-Anne’s journey into gin-making was sparked by a swarm of bees captured from a farm gate – an event that led them to embrace beekeeping to help pollinate the 6,500 apple trees in the family orchard.

Silks Gin contains 14 botanicals which are macerated (soaked in liquid) for 24 hours before slow distilling in a 500-litre copper pot still. Ten other distinct ingredients include juniper, coriander, sweet orange peel and fresh apple.
