Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel transformed into a winter wonderland this past weekend, enchanting guests with an unforgettable festive experience. The hotel’s luxurious ballroom, The Marker Suite, was filled with hundreds of real Christmas trees, creating a stunning and magical setting for a joyful afternoon of celebrations.
Special guests, business associates, members of the media, and familiar faces from the worlds of sport, entertainment, and business gathered to kick off the Christmas season in style. On arrival, each family received a personalised Christmas tree tag, granting them the opportunity to explore the ballroom and select their own full-sized Christmas tree to bring home—a unique and heartwarming gesture that added to the festive cheer.
Guests indulged in a beautifully curated holiday atmosphere, enjoying champagne, mulled wine, festive nibbles, gingerbread, and hot chocolate, all prepared by Executive Chef Gareth Mullins and his talented team. Adding to the magic, Santa Claus himself made a surprise appearance, delighting children and adults alike. The celebrations were further elevated by the soulful harmonies of The Newbridge Gospel Choir and a breathtaking performance of Oh Holy Night by international soprano Celine Byrne.
Celine, alongside Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel’s General Manager, Ludo de Jong, officially illuminated the grand Christmas tree in the hotel ballroom. Adorned with dazzling decorations, the tree stood as a magnificent centerpiece to the festivities.

Val Forde of Paul Sheeran Jewellers was also in attendance with her husband Mick Quinlan and their twin toddlers, Theo and Loa who were beautifully dressed in matching festive red.
