We are partnering with four local distilleries to celebrate our County’s whiskey provenance here at Randles Hotel this November with our “Kerry Whiskey Weekend”. Working with Killarney Brewing & Distilling Co, The Liberator, Portmagee and Skellig six18 we are delighted to invite guests to join us for a weekend of great whiskey, amazing food and stunning scenery.
Guests will arrive in Killarney on Friday 22nd November and check into a luxurious Signature King room with a Kerry whiskey gift to welcome them. That evening they will join Kerry’s whiskey aficionados to learn about their products and enjoy a tipple or two before sitting down to a five course tasting dinner, each course prepared using the flavours of our local whiskeys.
Saturday begins with an a la carte breakfast before being transported to Killarney Brewing & Distilling Co’s Fossa distillery for a tour followed by a light lunch. Back at Randles, following an afternoon of relaxation, guests can join us in the Drawing Room for a pre-dinner “Meet The Maker” with whiskey tasting & stories from Maurice O Connell of The Liberator Whiskey.
Saturday evening can then be spent dining and exploring Killarney Town with the option of following our whiskey trail to other local recommended establishments.
For those looking to continue their journey through Kerry’s whiskeys, tours of the Portmagee & Skellig six18 distilleries can be arranged for Sunday if desired.
