The Corkscrew Wine Merchants will host a very special wine tasting evening in their spectacular new venue, Upstairs at No.4, next Wednesday, 23rd October. Located just above The Corkscrew on Dublin’s Chatham Street, Upstairs at No.4 is the new venture from owners Paul and Fiona Foley.

They will welcome renowned winemaker Kevin Judd to host the evening, showcasing 6 of the best wines from his winery Greywacke. Before establishing the label in 2009, he was the founding winemaker at Cloudy Bay, a vital role during which he directed the company’s first 25 vintages.

This will certainly be an unmissable evening for anyone who likes their New Zealand wines. On the night, guests will enjoy 6 wines from the Greywacke range including; Sauvignon Blanc 2018, Wild Sauvignon 2016, Riesling 2016, Chardonnay 2015, Pinot Noir 2016 and Botrytis Pinot Gris 2015.

Although born in England, Kevin grew up in Australia, where he studied winemaking at Roseworthy College. A skilled photographer, Kevin has published two books, The Colour of Wine & The Landscape of New Zealand Wine. His signature vineyard shots provide the unmistakable identity of Greywacke.

This Greywacke wine tasting takes place next Wednesday 23rd October from 6.30pm, with tickets at €39 per person including cheese and charcuterie boards from Sheridans. Spaces for each event are limited to 24 guests, with early booking strongly advised.
