The Saddle Room

The Saddle Room encompasses the cherished traditions of dining at The Shelbourne, developed over generations. Reassuringly timeless, with an atmosphere of grandeur and comfort, it strikes a balance between formality and relaxation. A lavish menu inspired by the classics and served with all the theatre and flourish of old-school Irish service.

Executive Head Chef Garry Hughes and his devoted team have created a series of seasonal menus which pay homage to the grand culinary history of The Shelbourne and celebrate the most spectacular and delicious local produce of Ireland.

Capable of seating up to twenty guests, The Saddle Room’s private dining rooms offer all the comfort, style and old-world service of The Saddle Room but in an intimate and private setting.

The Lord Mayor’s Lounge

Luxurious, lovingly restored, and sparkling with light, Ireland’s most historic drawing room looks out over the grandeur of St. Stephen’s Green. From bright morning meetings and the cherished traditions of Afternoon Tea to dinner and drinks for residents late into the evening, The Lord Mayor’s Lounge is a quietly opulent space designed for delight.

No. 27 Bar & Lounge

The social capital of the Irish capital and the beating heart of the hotel, where Dublin society gathers to raise a glass and raise their spirits. Sparkling cocktails and precise pints served with style. A menu of elevated bar classics and fresh Irish seafood served with casual elegance. No.27 Bar & Lounge is the place to see and be seen.

The Horseshoe Bar

A distinctive Dublin treasure. A warm and intimate bar for a perfect pint of plain, a beloved local whiskey or a well-built martini. The atmospheric Horseshoe Bar is a destination, an institution and a living history of Irish society. Hosting Ireland’s most fascinating characters since 1957.

1824 Bar

If The Shelbourne itself had a snug, this might just be it. A luxe, intimate, and sophisticated atmosphere with low lights, rich wood panelling, and a host with the arcane knowledge to navigate 1824’s vast hand-picked list of top-shelf whiskey, Champagne, wine, and premium cocktails.

The Terrace

A hidden, unexpected and enchanting open-air space within the hotel which blurs the distinction between indoors and out. The Terrace is sheltered from the elements but open to the sky, with broad canopies, heaters, and an open fireplace to extend the season. A fine wine list and sharing platters featuring exceptional Irish ingredients.
