Like Temple Bar itself The Shack Restaurant offers a modern twist on something that is quintessentially Irish. The Shack, which sits right in the heart of Temple Bar, attracts tourists from around the globe and appeals to anyone from 18 to 80. Managing Director, Paul Lewis, heads the operation and over sees the kitchen and food production. He is joined by Head chef, Pat Murray, who has worked at the restaurant since 2001. The team are well versed at producing hearty, wholesome Irish cuisine with modern flare and expertise. Many of his dishes draw their origins from Irish history and this authenticity is evident throughout the restaurant.
The service team is headed by Restaurant Manager, Uta Nilas who joined The Shack crew in 2000 and such is her love for ”Ireland” she became an Irish citizen in 2014. Uta and her tremendous team provides a traditional Irish welcome and excellent service to our guests.

May to September 12 Noon to 11pm
We Serve lunch daily from 12 to 5pm
