Flahavan’s Overnight Oats recipes are super simple & perfect for the longer brighter mornings and will keep you fuelled up throughout the day, just prepare the night before for an effortless and delicious breakfast!

 

Tropical Overnight Oats by Karl Henry

Serves 3|Takes Min. 2 hours

INGREDIENTS:

150g Flahavan’s Organic Oats

300ml Low Fat Super Milk (or milk of your choice)

Chopped mango and pineapple pieces

Unsweetened flaked coconuts

2 tsp honey

 

METHOD:

Place the oats in a large glass jar.

Add the milk, enough to just cover the oats.

Cover with a lid and leave in the fridge overnight.

The next morning, remove oats from the fridge and pour into 3 glasses layering with the mango and pineapple pieces and topping with flaked coconut and a drizzle of honey

 

Overnight Oats with Apricots & Crushed Pistachios

Serves 2|Takes 120 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS:

90g Flahavan’s Progress Oatlets
3 tbsp Desiccated Coconut
200ml Coconut Milk
260ml Water
1 tbsp Chia Seeds
400g Fresh Apricots, halved and stone removed
2 tbsp Golden Caster Sugar
40g Pistachios

 

METHOD:

To make the bircher, place the Flahavan’s Oats into a bowl along with the desiccated coconut, coconut milk, 200ml water and chia seeds and stir to combine. Leave in the fridge for min. 2 hours or overnight if you can.
Meanwhile, place the apricots, remaining water and golden caster sugar in a medium saucepan. Cook gently over a low-medium heat for 10-15 minutes, or until soft and broken down. Remove from the heat and leave aside to cool.
Crush the pistachios into a fine crumb using a pestle and mortar.
To assemble, spoon the bircher into two glasses adding in a layer of the apricots and sprinkle over the pistachio crumb to serve.

 

Overnight Oats with Coconut, Strawberry and Lime

Serves 2|Takes 120 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS:

80g Flahavan’s Oats (/Flahavan’s Gluten Free Irish Oats)
1 tbsp chia seeds
2 tbsp desiccated coconut
200ml coconut milk
90g strawberries, sliced
90g raspberries
Juice of ½ a lime
1 tbsp maple syrup

 

METHOD:

Add the Flahavan’s Oats (/Flahavan’s Gluten Free Irish Oats) , chia seeds and desiccated coconut to a bowl and pour over the coconut milk.
In a separate bowl mix the strawberries, raspberries, lime juice and maple syrup.
Cover both bowls and leave in the fridge overnight.
The next day, spoon half the oat mixture into 2 glasses, and layer with half the strawberry mixture.
Repeat with a layer of the oat mixture and then strawberry mixture, until all the ingredients have been used.
Pour over any remaining juices, and enjoy

 

Peach Cobbler Overnight Oats

Serves 2|Takes 20 minutes

 

INGREDIENTS:

120g Flahavan’s organic oats
300g Vanilla yogurt
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 Fresh Peaches cut into pieces
1 tbsp Honey
2 tbsp Granola

 

METHOD:

Add the oats, yogurt and cinnamon to a bowl and mix well. If you prefer the consistency of your oats a little looser, add some milk.
To a glass or serving jar, add a layer of chopped peaches followed by a layer of oat mix.
Top with granola, peaches and honey. Close the jar lid or cover with cling wrap and place in the fridge overnight.
When you are ready to serve remove them from the fridge.
