Next Wednesday, May 3rd, Redbreast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey takes over Ashton’s Gastropub in Clonskeagh to host an intimate tasting and food pairing that is not be missed. Following a sold out event last year, we are delighted to have Gerard Garland, Irish Whiskey Ambassador with Irish Distillers, back with us to host this unique event. Ger, who certainly knows a thing or two about the Redbreast family, will share his wealth of whiskey knowledge in a relaxed, interactive and informative way.

On arrival, guests will be treated to a Redbreast Whiskey Sour, followed by an aperitive of Redbreast 21 before sitting down to enjoy an amuse bouche of parmesan and goats cheese paired with a Redbreast 15. This will be followed by a three course dinner experience created by Ashton’s Executive Chef Darren McQuarrie in collaboration with Ger. Each dish will be paired with an accompanying taste of a select Redbreast including Redbreast Lustau edition, Redbreast 12 Cask Strength, Redbreast 12, with a showstopper of Redbreast 27 to toast!

Produced in very limited quantities, Redbreast 21 Year Old represents the ultimate expression of Redbreast Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey. The 21 year ageing process introduces new levels of depth and an abundantly aromatic and fruitful flavour (RRP €50 per measure). Redbreast 12 Year Old Cask Strength boasts the flavour complexity and distinctive qualities of Pot Still Whiskey, the expression gives a glimpse of Redbreast 12 in its natural, full flavoured taste.

Whether you are new to Irish whiskey, fancy yourself as a bit whiskey connoisseur or just craving a night out with a difference, then be sure to join us.

Priced at an incredible price of €65 per head including all Redbreast whiskeys and a paired four course dinner, this is a night that will sell out, so we recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
