Guests are welcomed with finger food and hot drinks on arrival before the celebrations get underway.
Christmas Eve at Redcastle
On Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy a full Irish breakfast before younger visitors get the chance to meet Santa.
There will also be Christmas movies at The Deck Cinema, while guests can enjoy a table d’hôte dinner in the award-winning Edge Restaurant, either on Christmas Eve or St Stephen’s Day.
Those returning from Christmas Eve services can warm up with hot chocolate and mince pies.
Christmas Day Without the Cooking
Christmas Day begins with breakfast before the hotel’s Grand Carvery Christmas Buffet Lunch in the Ocean Suite, complete with sparkling wine on arrival.
A festive buffet supper follows in The Edge Restaurant that evening, allowing guests to enjoy Christmas Day without any of the cooking, clearing up or hosting.
St Stephen’s Day Entertainment
The festive programme continues on St Stephen’s Day with breakfast, an afternoon Magic Show, dinner and Christmas movies.
Guests on the four-night package can then enjoy breakfast on 27 December before departure.
A Christmas Designed for Quality Time
Owen McGee, General Manager of Redcastle Hotel & Spa said:
“Christmas should be about having time together, but for many families the reality can involve days of preparation, cooking and tidying up. Our Christmas packages take all of that away. Guests can arrive, unpack and enjoy Christmas together, with everything from Christmas dinner and Santa to entertainment and family movie time taken care of.”
Two-Night Christmas Escape
For those looking for a shorter festive break, Redcastle is also offering a flexible Two-Night Christmas Package, with guests able to arrive on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Those arriving on Christmas Eve can enjoy Santa and Christmas movie time, dinner in The Edge Restaurant and hot chocolate and mince pies following Christmas Eve services before celebrating Christmas Day at the hotel.
Alternatively, guests arriving on Christmas Day can begin their stay with the Grand Carvery Christmas Buffet Lunch, sparkling wine and festive supper before enjoying the St Stephen’s Day programme.
Time to Relax
Both Christmas packages include access to the hotel’s leisure facilities, giving guests the option to fit in a swim or some downtime between the festivities.
Located overlooking Lough Foyle, Redcastle also offers an opportunity to get outdoors for winter walks and explore the wider Inishowen Peninsula during a Christmas stay.
More Festive Events Throughout December
Redcastle Hotel & Spa is also running a full programme of festive dining and events throughout December, including Festive Afternoon Tea, Christmas dining and New Year’s Eve celebrations.
