Hosted by one of Ireland’s top historical content creators, Jane Casey, the ticketed event includes an immersive tour of the iconic Dublin Distillery with sip stops along the way to sample some of the finest Teeling Whiskey and much more!
Award-winning Irish Whiskey producer Teeling Whiskey has announced ‘Tales From the Golden Triangle’, an event open to the public this St. Patrick’s Day (limited tickets available). For those eager to avoid the typical Paddy’s Day clichés – green drinks and kitsch leprechaun suits – look no further. Guests can expect a day full of adventure and discovery, including some golden nuggets of Irish Whiskey history paired with delicious sip stops along the way of the finest Teeling Whiskey.
This year marks a significant moment in the Teeling Whiskey story as the spirit of Dublin celebrates a Decade of Dublin Distilling in The Liberties, the heart of The Golden Triangle. The event will touch on key moments in Irish Whiskey history, including the Great Whiskey Fire of Dublin—which changed the distilling landscape in Dublin forever—and how Teeling Distillery became the first operational distillery in Dublin City in 125 years and the first Irish whiskey to re-establish itself in The Golden Triangle.
The event will be hosted by Jane Casey, one of Ireland’s top historical content creators. Jane has a passion for sharing Ireland’s hidden histories, which stems from her own curiosity about the past. Discover the best-kept secrets of Dublin 8 and the legacy of Teeling Whiskey on Monday, March 17th—with a few surprises along the way for good measure!
Commenting on the upcoming event, Historical Content Creator Jane Casey said: “I’m really looking forward to hosting this event with Teeling – and in such an iconic location steeped in so much history already. The day is shaping up to be so much more than your typical day out for Paddy’s Day – with all the craic still included, of course! We want to celebrate Dublin’s rich distilling legacy and invite culture-curious people to uncover the hidden histories of Dublin 8 with us while enjoying a few tasty sips of Teeling Whiskey and a bit of adventure along the way.”
Jack Teeling, Founder and Managing Director of Teeling Whiskey, commented: “This year marks a decade of Dublin distilling for Teeling Whiskey – a very noteworthy chapter on our journey. What better way to mark this milestone than through a special event on St. Patrick’s Day held in our iconic distillery building here in Dublin 8 – an area so rich in its own history – and swap stories about significant moments of Irish whiskey history.
Our passion for innovation and desire to always test the boundaries of Irish whiskey is evident by the calibre of our in-house expertise at Teeling and our consistency in delivering products to the highest standard of the best quality. We’re looking forward to continuing to push these boundaries over the next decade and beyond!”.
