Easter 1916, Dublin is in flames and revolution is spilling onto the streets. ‘The 1916 Tour – Beyond Barricades’, is an emotive, dramatic, theatrical 60 minute tour. Navigating the city across barricades and time, propel yourself into the historical rebellion that would shape a nation on board a specially designed bus with performances by award-winning theatre company ANU Productions.
The tour starts and finishes from Merrion Square West, opposite the American College near the Oscar Wilde and visits some of the most important Dublin landmarks of the 1916 events, including O’Connell Street, Mount Street Bridge and The Jacob’s Factory, among others.
