  • Here in Brookwood we serve the finest steaks, seafood & cocktails across three floors of dining.

    Steak perfection takes time

All of our beef is sourced from the finest Irish Black Angus herds.  Our butcher uses traditional dry ageing methods and hangs our beef for a minimum of 35 days.  This dry ageing process creates a far superior depth of  flavour.  This is achieved in two ways, firstly the process removes moisture from the meat creating a greater concentration of flavour and secondly the natural enzymes break down the muscle and tissue resulting in a far more tender piece of meat.

    Steak perfection!

Have a drink from the bar

To complete your Brookwood experience, our expert bar tenders are always on hand, ready to serve you the finest cocktails made from the best of ingredients.  We also have a fantastic range of Irish craft beers and our wine list has been lovingly created with something for all tastes buds.

So when you come to Brookwood get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy!

    Private Dining

The Club Room is what makes Brookwood so special. Situated on the top floor, there is no other private dining room like it in Dublin. This luxurious room has been designed to the best possible standard. The room features a Bang & Olufsen 50" flat screen TV and music system, perfect for presentations or any sporting events. Exclusively to our Club Room guests we offer a premium bottle service and a private waiter who will ensure you a top class experience no matter what the occasion. • Where it began...
Farmer Browns was set up in 2012 by Limerick sisters Grace and Finnuala Caffrey. With a passion for food and hospitality embedded in their DNA, they started out with a handful of tables and buckets full of ambition. Now celebrating 10 successful years in business, Farmer Browns continues to grow while committing to keeping their menus seasonal.
Using only lthe best ocal suppliers and producers available to them and looking to food trends for inspiration to ensure their menus are fresh and relevant - these sisters know how to put on a spread!

Today, Farmer Browns is best known for its wholesome menu options, large portions, and tasty and vibrant combinations all while fully catering to vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free diets, and did we mention children eat free off peak?!

Must See... Farmer Browns opened its first restaurant on Bath Avenue in 2012, an exciting new tech corner of the city. Starting out serving homemade cakes and treats, their stellar offering and popularity gave the sisters the confidence to expand their menu to serving early breakfasts, quick lunches and award-winning brunch (LovinDublin). This once tea cafe soon became the perfect neighbourhood eatery and a firm favourite with the locals. Midweek breakfast is served from 8am - 3pm and at weekends all-day brunch is served from 9am - 4pm. We recommend booking or be ready to join their quickly moving waitlist. Otherwise, why not grab & go with their full menu available to take away.

The menus here have all your favourites; from pancakes, eggs all ways, soups, sharing plates, sandwiches and a wide variety of freshly baked pastries. With a menu influenced by Irish-American-Mexican cuisine, you'll find international flavours with Turkish eggs accompanied by homemade garlic flatbreads, eggs benedict or crunchy nutty granola with vegan yoghurt and fresh berries and acai bowls.

The creativity and love on each plate will have you coming back time and time again. Check out their daily specials and midweek lunch combos on instagram @farmerbrownsdublin

Growing... A few years later, Farmer Browns opened its second restaurant in Rathmines. Flowing out onto the hustle and bustle of the trendy neighbourhood, this was a larger space, boasting a beautiful south-facing outdoor terrace serving delicious cocktails and brunch in the sun as well as the perfect date spot on colder days with soft blankets, heaters and luxe cushions. Newly renovated, the interior is something of eclectic and vintage dreams, coupled with an ever-growing cocktail list and wholesome seasonal menus. • Situated in the centre of Athlone, just a minute or two’s walk from the bank of the River Shannon, when you walk through the doors of Gertie Browne’s, you immediately get a sense that you are welcome. That won’t come as a surprise to anyone who is familiar with the history of this establishment however as, from as early as the 10th or 11th centuries, Gertie Browne’s has been a hostelry of some sort.

The pub itself dates back over 1,000 years, initially acting as a resting point for those travelling west while also providing them with a place to house their horse-drawn carriages for the night. Nowadays, you’ll more often than not find a mixture of Athlonians perched at the old world style bar enjoying a drink or a bite to eat in our comfortable and familiar surroundings while exchanging some of the local gossip with our friendly staff behind the bar.

As you make your way through our deceptively long tavern, you’ll no doubt notice the curious tourists who have wandered in to study and admire the various bric-a-brac that decorates our walls from top to bottom as well as to try a pint of, what is rumoured to be, some of the best Guinness in Athlone. Tongue and groove walls, antique pitch pine counters and genuine salvaged memorabilia all help give our emporium that relaxed and pleasant atmosphere we are known for. You’ll even find an open fire featured in the front bar during the colder months.

Also known to locals as the ideal location to meet for a hearty meal, the focus at Gertie Browne’s is on no-nonsense, high quality food and drinks. Featuring a mixture of old school pub grub classics, the bar food comes from the same kitchen as Hatters’ Lane Bistro kitchen next door, which means every bit of love that goes into the plate there is to be found here at Gertie Browne’s as well. Our food is served Monday to Thursday from 4pm to 9pm, Fridays from 3pm to 7pm on, as well as Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays from 12pm to 7pm on. The menu is available to view here.

It’s always our aim here at Gertie Browne’s to ensure that each customer is welcomed and made feel at home with a good drink which is both properly presented and delicious. We offer a wide selection of beers which are available in bottles or on draught along with a variety of house wines. Our shelves are filled with a wide selection of both local and international spirits and customers can choose from an extensive list of 40+ gins and whiskeys and the staff behind the bar are always happy to advise those who are unsure of what to choose.

Our private library room, located in the back of the building, can accommodate up to 40+ people, making Gertie Browne's the ideal location to host special occasions or gatherings of all shapes and sizes. We often cater for a variety of options for groups including birthday parties, day after wedding parties, christenings, as well as corporate events and our fantastic team from the kitchen at Hatters' Lane Bistro are always on hand to provide our guests with catering for your party should you so desire.

  • Ideally located on Athlone’s Leinster shore, less than a 5 minute walk from the Town Bridge, the Radisson Blu Hotel, the Prince of Wales Hotel and the Sheraton Hotel, Hatters’ Lane Bistro is a family-friendly restaurant and we are well-known in Athlone for our hospitable environment. Our bistro is generally a lively place to spend an evening where our friendly and professional staff, led by restaurant manager Damian Mazgajski, do their very best to ensure each of our guests enjoy their evening as much as possible, whatever the occasion.

At Hatters’ Lane Bistro the ethos is simple - we aim to provide our customers with high quality bistro style dining along with a welcoming smile and great service. Our focus is on casual fine-dining and we have made a strong commitment to sourcing locally as much as possible, which is reflected in a menu that is now made up of about 75 - 80% Irish products.

Our menu makes extensive use of locally produced, high-quality Irish ingredients that are thoughtfully sourced including Hereford beef from Offaly, organic salads from Millhouse Farm in Roscommon, pork from Horan’s Pork Shop, mince from Dunning’s Master Butchers and fruit and vegetables from Behan’s, many of which are based here in Athlone. Our menu gives a hat-tip to the classic dishes that customers have been coming back for year-in-year-out, while also bringing something new to the table to enrich their dining experience. We consider our menu as a celebration of the fantastic produce that Ireland has to offer.

We offer two main menus here at Hatters’ Lane Bistro; an À La Carte menu and the Value Menu. The À La Carte Menu is available Monday to Saturday from 5.30pm to 10.00pm and the Value Menu is available Monday to Thursday from 5.30pm to 10pm, as well as on Friday and Saturday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Prices for the Value Menu at Hatters’ Lane Bistro start at €25 for two courses or €30 for three courses. On Sundays, we offer a special menu which changes week to week and is available from 12.00pm to 7.00pm.

First opening its doors in 1999, Hatters’ Lane Bistro has passed hands over the last couple of years, however, the new owners have still maintained the quirky interiors which make it so unique. Featuring an open fire, check table clothes and walls adorned with pictures of some of Hollywood's biggest movie star icons, the background music is easy listening typically featuring tunes from Sinatra, Martin, Bennett and the likes.

Our warm and hospitable atmosphere makes our venue the ideal location for gatherings of all shapes and sizes. We carry a wide range of beer, bubbles and wines to help get you and your guests in the party mood and can prepare canapés for larger parties upon request who wish to hire out our private library room at Gertie Browne’s (run by the same team as Hatters’ Lane Bistro). The private library room can accommodate groups of up to 40+ people.

From organising a simple gathering of friends over great food and a glass of wine to an elegant private evening event, our team at Hatters’ Lane Bistro will be more than happy to host your event. Send an email to hatterslanebistro1@gmail.com to find out more.

  • Gina Murphy warmly welcomes you to her long standing, classy, city centre restaurant. Hugo's first opened its doors in 2007 and has long since embedded itself as a stalwart of Dublin's restaurant scene. Featured in The Irish Times '100 Best places to eat in Ireland', McKenna Guide's 'Best in Ireland', CNN's Dublin's Top Restaurants, TheTaste.ie and many more.

We have a huge bias towards locally sourced ingredients (organic where possible), and a dedication to fresh and imaginative food. The kitchen, under the steady eye of Head Chef Peter Byrne (former Euro-Toque Young Chef of the Year), is a keen and innovative team who are eager to prepare for you the very best ingredients of which Ireland has to offer. Our wine list is worldly and extensive, and it allows our guests to choose from over 80 wines by the glass. These elements are married with smart professional service, brought by a long serving, but young, full-time team both front and back of house.

Hugo's is situated just off the north east corner of St. Stephens Green. We are nestled equidistant between the 5 star Merrion and Shelbourne Hotels. Hugo’s is also within 5 minutes stroll of The National Concert Hall, The Gaiety Theatre, The National Museum, The National Art Gallery, The Natural History Museum, and the iconic Grafton Street.

  • ITSA celebrates its 20th year in business this year!

We started this company in one tiny little premises on Lower Liffey Street and from there, the company has grown to encompass five brands over 12 locations.

ITSA is where it all started and things have changed a lot over the years. We used to import our bagels from H&H in New York, but nowadays we work with wonderful suppliers such as McCloskey's Bakery on the East Coast of Ireland who has been in business for 70 years, along with Wicklow Brie and O'Neil's dry cure bacon.

We are also delighted to be working with Silverskin Coffee and will continue to invest in new equipment and lots of training with Brian and the team in Silverskin. We still make all the fillings, sauces, soups and goodies in our kitchens in Sandyford. We have also changed all our soups so that they can be enjoyed by vegans.

ITSA Dun Laoghaire has lovely outdoor seating and is perfect for a delicious coffee and bagel after a stroll on the pier, with a full bagel menu, plus award winning soups and many gluten free & vegetarian options.

ITSA Arnotts is located at the Abbey Street entrance to the hugely popular Arnotts Department Store in Dublin city centre. The full itsa... menu of signature bagels and delicious goodies is available to take-away or eat-in - we have seating for 50 people, plus a few outdoor tables for sunny weather!

  • Mae was the name of my late grandmother. She was a wonderful cook, and a huge influence on my life. When I thought about opening my own restaurant, she was at the forefront of my list of inspirations, and I knew very quickly I wanted to name the space after her. The French Paradox was a perfect venue, because the influence on family is huge here too, the building has been passed down generations, and I am honoured that the space has been shared on to me.

An added bonus to this, is mae has access to some of the most incredible wines, direct from vineyards across France with whom the team at The French Paradox has had special relationships with for decades. The menu has been designed with all the above in mind. We want to bring modern, seasonal cooking with superb wine pairings to match. We have an incredibly strong team of front of house, chefs, sommeliers, and suppliers behind us.

As well as this, we have been working with so many hugely talented trades people, designers and creators from across Ireland; from ceramicists, embroiderers, glass blowers, to some of the most skilled and inspiring knife makers in the country.

I wanted to highlight not only the food, wine and talent in the restaurant industry, but also the backbones of it. What makes a restaurant feel special, what makes the guest feel special in that restaurant. Ireland has an abundance of remarkable producers all across the country, and I wanted to bring as many as I could into mae.

I can't wait for you to experience the restaurant for yourselves, and am so looking forward to welcoming you all over the coming weeks, months and years.
