  • Aqua Restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience.

Travel just 25 minutes outside of Dublin City Centre or from Dublin Airport to discover Howth, a picturesque fishing village. The harbour offers a gorgeous respite from the City hustle and bustle during the day, and at night is lit up with returning fishing boats delivering their catch to local restaurants.

Aqua sits at the very end of the West Pier in the first floor of a building that in a former life belonged to Howth Sailing Club. From the dining area you can enjoy through floor to ceiling windows, the panoramic view across Howth sound to the island of Ireland’s Eye, a magical island both visually and historically. The views are truly legendary and mentioned often in reviews of Aqua! From the east facing windows of the restaurant the full splendour of the harbour, the marina, and the working fishing pier can be enjoyed.

The bar at Aqua is cosy, with deep window-seats and black-framed charcoal drawings by local artists. It is a true haven to enjoy a pre or post dining drink. The only challenge is to rise from the couches and continue on your journey! We look forward to welcoming you to Aqua at our home in Howth!

  • This multi-award winning Village is sure to have exactly what you need. Ideally located in a picturesque Wicklow Valley just 1 hour from South Dublin, it is the perfect spot for a get away from it all break. Country house style and state-of-the-art facilities combine to deliver a unique experience.

Relax at The Wells Spa, a designated ‘Resort Spa’. Dine at The Strawberry Tree, Ireland’s first certified Organic restaurant, or La Taverna Armento, a Southern Italian style bistro.

Macreddin Village is also home to Macreddin Golf Course, designed by European Ryder Cup Captain Paul McGinley, Actons Country Pub & Orchard Café, an Organic Bakery, Macreddin Smokehouse and much, much more.

    Celebrated 30 Years, 1988 - 2018

The multi-award winning Strawberry Tree Restaurant is Ireland’s first certified Organic Restaurant. Diners at The Strawberry Tree have the option of both a 5 course Dinner Menu and a 9 course Tasting Menu with both menus showcasing Wild & Organic Foods that have been expertly prepared by The Strawberry Tree Brigade.

The innovative cuisine is matched by the dramatic surroundings, which includes a walk-in Wild Foods Pantry, featuring much of the produce foraged and prepared by our crew, as well as a selection of meats, cured in our own Smoke House and great Irish cheeses.

The Big Table Experience at The Strawberry Tree

The Big Table provides a unique group dining opportunity for The Strawberry Tree Brigade to prepare Foods and a Menu that simply cannot be served in a normal restaurant setting, presented on a single table that can stretch from 8 to 44 people.

Commencing with a simple pre-starter, all the food then arrives together to The Big Table in the style of a Feast and is presented on platters in the centre of the table for guests to pick and choose, mix and match as they wish. Guests are encouraged to help serve the person on both sides of them, helping to add to the conviviality and atmosphere of the table.

After enjoying The Strawberry Tree dessert plate, guests can help themselves to some wonderful Organic Cheeses, which are kept at perfect temperature in our Wild Foods Pantry.

Even the menu is presented in a different style in that rather than the recipe been highlighted, it is the supplier, farmer or artisan producer that is named and acknowledged.

Macreddin Village is known as the Food Village and it's easy to see why. With a variety of venues onsite offering free range, organic and wild food options, you can savour great food in sublime settings.

The person behind this food philosophy is Evan Doyle. Evan is a member of Euro-toques and has hosted the National Food Forum for many years. He has been strongly connected with The Slow Food Movement in Ireland.

  • Here in Brookwood we serve the finest steaks, seafood & cocktails across three floors of dining.

    Steak perfection takes time

All of our beef is sourced from the finest Irish Black Angus herds.  Our butcher uses traditional dry ageing methods and hangs our beef for a minimum of 35 days.  This dry ageing process creates a far superior depth of  flavour.  This is achieved in two ways, firstly the process removes moisture from the meat creating a greater concentration of flavour and secondly the natural enzymes break down the muscle and tissue resulting in a far more tender piece of meat.

    Steak perfection!

Have a drink from the bar

To complete your Brookwood experience, our expert bar tenders are always on hand, ready to serve you the finest cocktails made from the best of ingredients.  We also have a fantastic range of Irish craft beers and our wine list has been lovingly created with something for all tastes buds.

So when you come to Brookwood get ready to sit down, relax and enjoy!

    Private Dining

The Club Room is what makes Brookwood so special. Situated on the top floor, there is no other private dining room like it in Dublin. This luxurious room has been designed to the best possible standard. The room features a Bang & Olufsen 50" flat screen TV and music system, perfect for presentations or any sporting events. Exclusively to our Club Room guests we offer a premium bottle service and a private waiter who will ensure you a top class experience no matter what the occasion. • Welcome to La Côte

Located on Custom Quay overlooking the Irish Sea and Wexford’s famous Mussel Trawlers, La Côte is a contemporary seafood restaurant owned and run by Michelin-trained chef Paul Hynes and his wife Edwina.

Offering Irish seafood with a modern European influence, La Côte allows Paul to showcase his love of seafood cuisine as chef/patron and where Edwina, as a restaurant manager, ensures a welcoming and attentive service.  Our menus are inspired by the fresh local produce we can gather from land and sea, and we are proud to work with dedicated food producers, farmers and chefs.

La Côte’s many accolades to date include Seafood Restaurant of the Year 2016 by the Georgina Campbell Ireland Guide and, more recently, Best Restaurant and Best Chef for County Wexford at the 2018 Irish Restaurant Awards. The restaurant is holder of the L’Assiette Michelin, or Michelin Plate, indicating a restaurant of noteworthy, quality food.

    Our Story

Following years in Michelin-star establishments such as L’Ecrivain in Dublin and Arbutus and Tom Aikens in London, Paul returned to his native Wexford and continued to work with some excellent chefs such as Roberto Pons of La Dolce Vita & Alan Foley of The Step House prior to opening La Côte with his wife Edwina in 2014.

Like Paul, Edwina is a trained chef and has years of experience in restaurant management. La Côte is the realisation of their dream to create a modern Irish seafood restaurant to channel their passion for good food and fine local produce; an eatery to showcase Paul’s wonderful skill and natural talent for cooking seafood and Edwina’s flair for front of house.

Food is a passion for Paul and Edwina. Outside La Côte, you will find Paul fishing and them both foraging their way around Wexford. Paul is always experimenting with new flavours and textures in the kitchen and they travel regularly to seek out new dining and food experiences for inspiration.

Paul and Edwina believe that great ingredients create great dishes and are passionate about using local, seasonal produce. Fish at La Côte is always fresh and delivered to the restaurant on the day it is caught. Menus at La Côte change with the seasons and are inspired by what can be sourced locally: freshly caught fish off Wexford’s Kilmore Quay; meat sourced from local farmers; artisan breads baked by Paul; herbs, plants and sea vegetables grown themselves or foraged for locally; edible flowers and herbs grown in the restaurant’s window boxes. It is not uncommon to find Paul fishing for a piece of prized sea bass or mackerel, foraging in Ferrycarrig for some wild garlic or in Curracloe for samphire. Their inspiration comes from what is on their doorstep in Wexford and this is reflected in the menus at La Côte.

All the beef is sourced from a small group of farmers in the South Leinster area, whose excellent husbandry skills ensure their livestock is reared on only the best of natural grass and grains, less all the artificial growth promoters and additives. The unique 30-day Himalayan salt aged beef by Peter Hannan sees the beef dry aged for 30 days in a cold chamber that is lined with blocks of Himalayan Rock Salts and it has won numerous awards.

We’re proud to work with Dublin’s long standing Bretzel Bakery and their legendary ‘real’ bread from traditional baking practices.

Morelands Signature Sundae includes premium ice cream which is produced by the Taylor Family on the Glastry Farm in Co Down.

  • Pearl is an award winning fine dining restaurant in Dublin city center.

Our philosophy is simple: good food and comfortable surroundings with friendly, attentive staff.

We serve modern French cuisine in a warm, relaxed environment.

    Our Philosophy

Pearl Brasserie opened its doors on the 7th of December 2000. Our first objective was to build a team with a hunger to learn and a passion for detail. The same hard work is being asked of our Irish and Continental suppliers, so we are able to get the best Irish and French produce on a daily basis.

Culinary ingenuity and skill from the kitchen combines with warm, welcoming, professional service delivering one of Dublin’s premier fine dining experiences.

Pearl Brasserie continues to perform at the top of the game in Dublin. Bon Appetit!

    Awards

    Sebastien Masi, Pearl Brasserie, Dublin

Awarded Chef of the year 2017 in the Georgina Campbell Awards.

Casual dining may still be the big story but fine dining is far from dead – and, regardless of style, the restaurants that are performing best are those led by people like our long established Chef of the Year, who are grounded in classical cooking.

In a town where new restaurants are stealing the limelight every month it’s reassuring to know that some of the long-established gems – like this one, almost hidden from view and beloved by savvy diners for 23 years – are as delightful, and as relevant, as the day they first opened. Luxurious, innovative and sophisticated, it has been known for consistently excellent food since opening in 2000. Everything this owner chef is serving up is top class and, despite being there for many years, he keeps his cooking fresh, on trend, yet very true to his classic roots.

Everything is perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and a pure pleasure to eat. Quality ingredients, classic techniques and lovely Irish touches make his food a great showcase for Ireland. The full vegetarian menu offered is inspired and the cheese trolley is both traditional and stylish. Furthermore, standards in general have never slipped at this lovely restaurant – staff are impeccably briefed and service is invariably first class.

But the real star is the Frenchman at the helm, whose sophisticated cooking is as exciting, beautiful and relevant as ever – and in many ways it’s even better.

  • Peploe’s Wine Bistro is located on St Stephens Green in the heart of Dublin City.
Produce sourced from the best Irish suppliers, great food and ambience at Peploe’s Restaurant.

Peploe’s story is the culmination of a long-held ambition for owner, Barry Canny, to open an accessible, affordable bistro reflecting his personal passion for simple good food, fine wine and art.

The building dates from the 1760’s and is classic Georgian Dublin. It was a rather ambitious project that Mr Canny embarked upon to develop the basement location as it housed an 18 tonne steel door and is a listed building. 2 years and 350 tonnes of concrete later Peploe’s opened its doors on the 19th of November 2003 to an incredible buzz of interest.

As the restaurant is named after the renowned Scottish Colourist, Samuel John Peploe, reproductions of his artwork and that of the other Scottish Colourists (commissioned from young Irish artists) adorn the walls. In a touch of style, these are framed with original 19th century frames sourced in London.

The motivation was to give Dublin an informal yet sophisticated bistro, serving great wine and classic dishes at affordable prices. 16 years on, Peploe’s is  still considered ‘the’ place to eat at anytime of the afternoon or evening.

The décor has the feel of a long established, stylish gentleman’s club, with comfortable leather chairs and reclaimed oak-panelled floor and walls. The dining room is colourful and atmospheric with an amusing mural running the length of the dining room wall.

  • Ireland’s most unique dining experience. Step back in time and dine aboard the Pullman Restaurant. Comprising of two original carriages from the Orient Express, beautifully restored and set on the grounds of the hotel. Enjoy the luxury and splendour of dining in true style and sit by the window seat and take in the spectacular views overlooking Glenlo Abbey Estate and Lough Corrib.

Converted into a wonderful restaurant car retaining all of its original character, this historic Pullman train carriage had been residing at Elsenham Station in Hertfordshire, England, before joining the many and varied facilities already available at Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate Galway.

A 2 AA rosette award-winning restaurant, the Pullman Restaurant is certainly a dining experience like no other.

Please note that in line with Government Guidelines, and for the health and safety of both our guests and staff, Pullman Restaurant has extended its opening hours and affords diners space in a socially distant setting.

For reservations and enquiries, please contact reception on +353 (0)91 519600 or email reception@glenloabbey.ie

    History of the Pullman Restaurant

The Pullman Restaurant on the grounds of the Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate is one of Ireland`s truly unique dining experiences. Comprising of two dining carriages, one of which is called Leona, dates back to 1927 and was part of the original Orient Express.

The carriage has had a varied life, it famously covered the Orient Express route, taken in Istanbul, Monte Carlo-Nice, all the way to St. Petersburg in Russia. As well as that, the carriage was part of the Brighton Belle which route would have transported guests from London to Brighton. Many celebrated and famous personas of the time, like Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy to name a few would have travelled this route to Brighton to perform, as it was the hive of activity for Theatre and show in Great Britain at the time.

1965 saw Leona’s final journey when she was used as part of Winston Churchill ‘s funeral cortege to transport his remains to his final resting place at St. Martins Church, just outside Blenheim Palace.

After this event, Leona played a starring role in the 1974 film adaption of Agatha Christie’s, ‘Murder on the Orient Express’, which starred Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall and Sean Connery.

Leona also served as a restaurant at Elsenham Station in Essex, not far from London Stansted Airport and included the 1954 carriage Linda, which makes up the other half of our unique dining facility. We opened our doors in May 1998.

The Pullman Restaurant offers fabulous views of Lough Corrib and our beautiful Estate and ironically it is located only 300 meters away from the old track bed of the now sadly lost Galway-Clifden railway line which was disbanded in the mid 1930`s.

Aboard the Pullman, you will enjoy a unique dining experience like no other, the service is jovial and personal with a thoughtfully selected list of fine wines and the best locally sourced food prepared by our experienced and passionate kitchen team.

    All aboard!!

  • Concept

To add creativity and flavour to the finest ingredients in the most nutritious way possible.  In today’s ever changing restaurant environment, there is a demand for greater choice and the need to cater for individual tastes and nutritional requirements.  At Rustic Stone we feel we have something for everyone. Our restaurant is a fun, inviting and relaxed place to eat where everyone’s needs, diets and indulgences are provided for.

    Nutrition

At Rustic Stone we create food that is as tasty as it is nutritious.  Our aim is to allow people to choose what they eat in accordance to what they look for in a meal, without sacrificing flavour.

We cook seasonally with olive oil, and nowhere will you find butter or cream in any of our dishes.  We use lots of fresh herbs and salads grown by farmers we know and trust.  We use organic produce where possible, always insisting on freshness.  We focus on the positive virtues of different ingredients and draw out the flavour as well as the goodness from within.

    Suppliers

Our suppliers are an integral part of what we ultimately create on the plate.  Their high standards and pursuit of excellence are crucial components in helping us to achieve consistency.  Staying true to our philosophy of supporting home-grown produce and showcasing Irish ingredients is at the heart of what we do.

    Stone Cooking

Rustic Stone adopts an old Spanish technique which is still quite new in Ireland. Customers are served their meat or fish dishes on a hot volcanic stone which they cook themselves. This method adds an element of theatre to the meal yet at the same time adds to customer preference allowing them to have their dish cooked exactly how they like it.

Also on the menu is a list of salads and dressings carefully chosen by Dylan which is left to the customers to add and mix themselves. Along with these salads is a choice of new and unique side orders which are packed full of flavour. Dylan is particularly excited with his new range of sugar free cocktails and desserts which he has created specifically for Rustic Stone.

    Group Booking

Rustic Stone is located on 17 South Great Georges Street and was officially opened to the public on Tuesday the 24th of August. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12pm to 2:30pm and for dinner from 5:30pm to 11pm. The restaurant can also be hired exclusively either in its entirety (120 seats) or the area downstairs which seats 60 people.

  • Taste at Rustic is an exciting new restaurant in the heart of Dublin City. A new food experience by Dylan McGrath to explore the idea of flavour, tastes and in the room cooking, while being influenced by Japan, Spain and South America.

    THE FOOD

‘’It’s no secret I’ve always enjoyed the idea of a challenge: to look at the fine tastes that we as chefs try to understand and then lay them out in a menu and make them as enjoyable for the customers to experience as it is for us to create. In running with this idea, I’ve been heavily influenced by Japan, Spain and South America. I love the flavour release of some these cooking techniques. I find something special in the use of their immediate, quick heat and I hope you do too.’’ Dylan McGrath

    DRINKS

We’re extremely proud of our drinks menu in Taste. Our dedicated bar staff have worked closely with Dylan to design two lists of Japanese inspired cocktails. One cocktail list has been meticulously designed for before and during your meal at Taste. The second is a list of outstanding dessert cocktails has been created exclusively for afters.

  • There is nothing like The Garden Room in Dublin. In this city, it’s utterly unique.

As the now-famous Merrion grew, a courtyard garden appeared right in the very heart of the hotel. A formal garden, complete with fountain, overlooked by the drawing rooms and guestrooms on three sides and the blue skies above.

On the fourth side, to the east, we have created a light and airy space that opens onto the garden and becomes a part of it. This is The Garden Room.

From the beginning we wanted it to be a less formal affair. Somewhere to unwind and laugh with friends over a refreshingly cold bottle of rosé and a deliciously fresh seafood salad. A secret garden where you’ll find little groups of people who love each other’s company and others, dining alone, happy to enjoy a brief escape with just themselves. Weather permitting, we’ll open those great floor-to-ceiling glass doors to the garden terrace for true al fresco dining.

Our menus were all painstakingly designed by master head chef Ed Cooney with also including a vegan menu offering created in collaboration with Holly White.

His idea is to keep everything brilliantly simple. To not over-complicate anything but to help keep The Garden Room a relaxed, informal, sanctuary of sanity. The menus feature modern Irish food from artisan food producers and our wonderful natural harvest from land and sea.

  • Established in 1980, The Lobster Pot Restaurant is surely one of Dublin's best kept dining secrets, blending an old world charm with intimate surroundings. Feel the warmth of our greeting and allow us to make your dining experience memorable.

For over 35 years now we have prided ourselves on a commitment to hard work and high standards, bringing together a wealth of knowledge in our staff while listening throughout to you, our patrons. We give nod to a subtle French style of cooking, preferring simplicity to over complexity, allowing the freshest of ingredients and blends say it all.

  • The House

The Old Convent Country House is nestled at the foot of the Knockmealdown Mountains in beautiful County Tipperary - a unique destination for those seeking elegant accommodation, Irish artisan cuisine, refreshing walks in the picturesque countryside and a convenient location to explore local antiquities and natural amenities.

Stroll through the mature gardens and stop for a swing in the hammock, explore the Vee Gap with a scenic mountain drive or hill walk, relax by the fire with a cup of tea or curl up with a DVD or great book from our collection.

Hideaway from it all at The OC!

*The Old Convent is an Adult Only Destination*

    Past

The Convent was constructed in 1885 when the Sisters of Mercy were asked to take charge of Clogheen workhouse. It was the same year the sisters also began teaching in the local school.

When the workhouse system was abolished and the Clogheen workhouse closed, the Sisters continued to teach in the local school and work in the present St. Theresa’s hospital located in the only remaining building of the original workhouse complex. In 1991, the Mercy order decided to sell the Convent and build a lovely bungalow adjacent for the resident nuns, where they still reside to this day.

    Present

Dermot and Christine Gannon bought the building in 2005 with a vision to create a space where guests could relax and rejuvenate, while enjoying great food and the beautiful Tipperary countryside.

The Old Convent was born in July of 2006. The daily changing tasting menu was key to fulfilling their goal of using the freshest Irish artisan ingredients, served in the beautiful Chapel Dining Room.

    Dinner

Dermot’s daily changing 8 Course Irish Artisan Tasting Menu is served in The Chapel Dining Room at 8 pm. There is just one seating for dinner, so the table is yours to enjoy for the entire evening.

  • Urban Brewing is at the very heart the exciting and ever developing Dublin Docklands, combining a craft brewery with two unique bars and its own Stack A Restaurant within. We’ve created our intimate home in a stunning, vaulted 19th century warehouse space in the CHQ Building. Our venue is a mix of offerings that is inspired by travels and journeys of our own and suits any occasion. A briefly detailed outline is shared below.

Urban Brewing and Hop Garden Terrace

Our most social, informal and vibrant space with its own dedicated open kitchen, crafting an array of international tapas style dishes and substantial raciones, and a fantastic drinks selection with over 200 beers -some of them brewed on-site, more than 100 wines, as well as very selective spirits and inventive cocktails.

Our large Hop Garden Terrace, fully heated and covered, is an ideal all year-round spot to enjoy a drink, bite, or coffee. Think of an oasis and a suntrap at the same time.

    Stack A Restaurant

Located in our 200-year-old vaults, an architectural masterpiece in its own right, Stack A is a smart casual restaurant suited to intimate small tables, social gatherings or larger groups up to 300+ guests. Due to the layout of the vaults, each separated by a wonderful wall of brick and stone, it makes for an unrivalled atmosphere and setting. Serving both lunch and dinner, group menus, canapes and a lot more, it is a unique space to bring your relatives, friends or clients.

Stack A Restaurant is temporarily closed and will be reopening in Autumn.

    Tours and tastings, Brewmasters’ Table

With the first of its kind brewery in Ireland, we are well suited to offer a variety of brewery tour packages and tastings, including beer and food pairing experiences. These can be organised in advance and a highlight we are really proud of. During these tours you get to immerse yourself in the brewing process, taste whichever beers we are pouring at the moment, and meet the brewers for a more in depth and approachable chat.

Our tours are currently unavailable and will be back soon.
